2 Professional Movers + 26-Foot Moving Truck — $119/hour cash rate
Labor Only — 2 Professional Movers — $109/hour cash rate

A 3-hour minimum applies.

Truck moves include standard moving equipment and protection materials, including moving blankets, dollies, hand trucks, shrink wrap, and tape at no additional charge.

Gas/Travel Fee — Starting at $39. Any applicable travel fee is disclosed before the move.

The total moving time depends on the amount of furniture and boxes, stairs or elevators, walking distance, parking access, travel distance, and how prepared the customer is when our crew arrives.

For applicable moves where the distance between pickup and delivery is more than 10 miles, Double Drive Time may apply to the actual driving portion of the move.

All applicable charges are explained before your move — no hidden fees and no surprises on move day.

SMG Movers & Cleaning LLC has a 3-hour minimum booking for local moving and labor-only services.

The minimum applies regardless of the size of the job and helps cover the professional crew, scheduling, preparation, equipment, and transportation required to complete your move safely and efficiently.

After the 3-hour minimum, additional time is billed in 15-minute increments, so you are charged only for the additional time actually worked.

Yes. SMG Movers & Cleaning LLC offers professional full-service packing, partial packing, and unpacking services for residential and commercial moves.

We can pack an entire home or assist with specific areas such as kitchens, bedrooms, closets, wardrobes, fragile items, artwork, dishes, electronics, and other household belongings.

Packing labor is billed based on the applicable hourly moving rate. Standard moving protection materials such as shrink wrap, tape, and moving blankets are included with our moving service.

Boxes, packing paper, specialty packing materials, and other disposable supplies may be available for an additional charge, depending on the quantity and type required. Customers are also welcome to provide their own boxes and packing materials.

We recommend letting us know in advance if packing assistance is needed so we can arrive with the appropriate crew, supplies, and equipment.

Our movers can help with loading, unloading, furniture moving, storage-unit moves, moving containers, rental trucks, and on-site furniture rearrangement.

We will carefully organize and secure your belongings to maximize available space and help reduce the risk of damage during transportation.

Labor-only services are billed at our applicable labor-only hourly rate and minimum booking requirement. Pricing is confirmed before the job.

Whether you need help loading at your home, unloading at your new location, or moving items in or out of storage, our professional crew can handle the heavy lifting.

Yes. Basic furniture disassembly and reassembly is included as part of our moving service at no additional charge when required for safe transport.

This typically includes bed frames, standard tables, desks, removable furniture legs, and other basic household furniture.

Please let us know in advance if you have large, complex, custom-built, antique, wall-mounted, or specialty furniture, as some items may require additional time, special tools, or a qualified specialist.

Our movers do not perform structural modifications, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, or installation of built-in furniture.

Our goal is to safely prepare your furniture for transport and reassemble standard items at your new location whenever reasonably possible.

For moves where the distance from the pickup location to the delivery location is more than 10 miles, SMG Movers & Cleaning LLC applies Double Drive Time (DDT) to the actual driving time between the two locations.

This means we do not charge the entire move twice. Only the actual driving time from pickup to delivery is doubled.

Example: If the distance is more than 10 miles and the actual drive from pickup to delivery takes 30 minutes, an additional 30 minutes is added to the total billable time.

30 minutes actual drive = 60 minutes billable drive time.

If the pickup-to-delivery distance is 10 miles or less, SMG Movers & Cleaning LLC does not apply Double Drive Time.

All applicable travel charges are clearly explained before the move — no hidden fees or surprises on move day.

Yes. SMG Movers & Cleaning LLC can move heavy and oversized items, including upright pianos, large refrigerators, safes, oversized dressers and armoires, solid-wood furniture, heavy appliances, large tool chests, gym equipment, garage equipment, and other bulky or unusually heavy items.

Any single item weighing more than 250 lbs is classified as an Extra Heavy Item and is subject to an additional heavy-item fee.

Heavy items must be disclosed before move day. We may request photos, approximate dimensions, weight, information about stairs, elevators, narrow hallways, and other access conditions so we can determine the proper crew, equipment, and safest moving method.

Additional charges for Extra Heavy Items will be communicated before the move whenever the item has been properly disclosed — no surprises on move day.

Important: Refrigerators and other appliances must be disconnected and properly prepared for transport before our movers arrive. SMG Movers & Cleaning LLC does not perform plumbing, gas, water-line, or electrical disconnection/reconnection services.

Extra Heavy Item = Any single item over 250 lbs

For safety and liability reasons, SMG Movers & Cleaning LLC does not disconnect or reconnect appliances that involve water, gas, plumbing, electrical, or built-in connections.

This includes washers, dryers, refrigerators with water or ice-maker lines, dishwashers, ranges, ovens, and other connected appliances.

All appliances must be fully disconnected, drained, emptied, defrosted when necessary, and ready for transport before our movers arrive. After delivery, reconnection should be completed by the customer or a qualified plumber, electrician, appliance technician, or other appropriate professional.

Our team can safely protect, load, transport, unload, and position the appliance once it has been properly disconnected and prepared for moving.
